It has been an intense, ambitious task; a process which has lasted
more than two years and the result of which is absolutely
innovatory: floors, ceilings and partitions which opt for the
personal touch in office building interiors, a system which
guarantees the space distribution desired and offers limitless
possibilities in terms of finishes without call for major building
work. When I say limitless options, that is precisely what I mean:
the system we have developed means you can choose any surface finish
material, representing an enormous advantage and a step forwards in
comparison with existing systems of its kind, opening the way for
the development of interior architecture tailor-made for the company
it is designed for and which, at the same time, envisages an
integral idea of these works of micro-architecture with regard to
furniture. A system conceived to open up an architect's options of
response to space in a previously unimaginable way.
And the system responds with multiple options; through an approach
which considers flooring, ceiling and partitioning separately; or
the more complete, ambitious approach of taking these as a whole by
combining the three elements in all their variety. The floors exceed
the standard measurements of the panels of other access floors,
which are normally 60 x 60, and are conceived as access floors which
allow for a whole range of dimensions, whilst also leaving open the
made-to-measure option. As for materials, there are no limitations
on the use of any surface: wood, marble, stone, textile floor
coverings, etc.
The ceilings also involve internal structures which grant absolute
freedom when it comes to surface finish formats and the inclusion of
different light sources. Finally, surface and integrated elements
have been developed for the partitions. In both cases, the planes
are available in either double-glazed finishes or as blind
partitions. As with the floors and ceilings, the structure of the
blind partitions allows for parts of any size and material. The
flexibility of the project means it is possible to design spaces in
which the floor plane is a continuum of the vertical planes, with no
break points between horizontal and vertical.
In all cases, the project has been developed in line with required
safety standards and all versions guarantee optimum levels of
soundproofing.
In short, a system with impeccable technical resolution, whose
revolutionary aspect lies in its until-now-unheard-of flexibility,
constrained only by logic in the choice of materials. A system which
encourages creativity: the only limit, an architect's imagination.
